As a Formulation Technician at the No7 Beauty Company, you will play a key role in supporting the development and delivery of innovative formulation solutions that align with our Brand's strategic plans. Working alongside our Formulation Technologists in a laboratory-based role, you will help ensure our formulations meet consumer expectations, category goals, and brand standards. Formulation technicians report directly to the Formulation Manager.
Key responsibilities
Support the delivery of the formulation activities on the brand NPD and EPD plans
Produce bulk, product samples, trial batches, packing off and conducting stability protocols
Generate and record accurate data and related administrative administration activities in line with processes that support product development
Manage own workload and is responsible for planning and following defined protocols and procedures within development and delivery of new formulation solutions
Identify formulation technical risks and escalating to their line manager
Work to required GLP standards, procedures are completed accurately to time and quality standards, following defined SOPs
Demonstrate high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
What you'll need to have
BSc in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field or will have experience in the relevant technology area
Drive to problem-solve using technical know how and create solutions
Passion to communicate specialist technical information to a variety of audiences
Setting and working within quality systems
Demonstrate collaboration, reprioritising workload and resilience
Shows a growth mindset
It would be great if you also have
Relevant industry lab experience, ideally 1 year.
