About the role

We are seeking an experienced QMS & Audit Manager to lead our Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure the highest quality and compliance standards across our component and finished goods suppliers.

In this role, you will own the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our quality systems, ensuring that every product bearing our brand meets the expectations of regulators and consumers alike. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to embed a strong quality culture, proactively manage risk, and drive supplier performance.

This is a hands-on and strategically influential position within our growing skincare business — ideal for someone who enjoys both system leadership and direct supplier engagement.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's QMS in accordance with ISO 22716 (Cosmetic GMP), ISO 9001, and applicable regional regulations.

  • Develop, review, and control SOPs, policies, and quality documentation across R&I, manufacturing, and supply chain.

  • Drive continuous improvement through internal audits, CAPA management, and quality risk assessments.

  • Champion quality culture and provide training across teams to build awareness and accountability.

  • Establish and manage a supplier quality assurance framework covering raw materials, components, and finished goods.

  • Conduct supplier and contract manufacturer audits to assess compliance, GMP standards, and technical capabilities.

  • Develop supplier scorecards, track quality KPIs, and lead improvement initiatives.

  • Partner with Procurement and R&I in the qualification and onboarding of new suppliers and contract manufacturing partners.

What you'll need to have

  • Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Cosmetic Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Quality Management, ideally within FMCG, beauty, or cosmetics manufacturing.

  • Proven experience auditing components and finished goods suppliers (ISO 9001, ISO 22716, GMP, or equivalent).

  • Strong knowledge of EU/UK cosmetics regulations (and FDA or other regional regulations desirable).

  • Experience implementing or managing digital QMS tools (e.g., MasterControl) is an advantage.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging with suppliers and senior leadership.

  • Highly organized, analytical, and solution-oriented with a continuous improvement mindsetExcellent IT skill and management of office tools in particular Excel, word, powerpoint.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, flexibility and adaptability

  • Ability to work well on own and as part of a team
