About the role
As a Product Owner you will join the BSP & No7BC Team within Boots IT2A. You will oversee the definition, maintenance and E2E delivery of the roadmap. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, both internally and externally to understand priorities and constraints both from a business and technology perspective and lead the delivery to a product roadmap which aligns with our strategic goals, balancing commercial value with customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
Engage with key stakeholders to understand strategy, business objectives and priorities.
Building strong relationships and fostering alignment across departments and technology partners.
Collect and analyse requirements from relevant business functions and document for the development teams. You will prioritise and keep these up to date in alignment with the business strategy, commercial objectives and user needs.
Prioritise and maintain product roadmap and backlog items.
Work with all delivery teams to form a cohesive and accurate delivery plan. You will coordinate this E2E, from design thorough to deployment and support thereafter.
Ensuring all internal PMO and governance and project management processes are followed, deliver weekly reporting on project performance including budget monitoring, resource utilisation and timeline adherence.
Align partners on prioritisation and progress updates, highlighting risks and resolving issues proactively.
Lead our weekly change approval board for any releases on-site, A/B tests or tagging updates.
Provide leadership to the delivery teams, ensuring delivery against time, budget and requirements. This includes, where required, management of different resources both within and outside of the No7 Beauty Company business.
What you'll need to have
Previous experience in a Product Owner role or work in a similar role such as a Business Analyst
Strong Project Management skills
Ability to work closely and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including external agencies & vendors
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to talk to audiences at different levels; both in providing clear and concise updates
Excellent partner management skills with a strong ability to build relationships and influence
Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects as well as the ability to identify risks and issues that need escalation/mitigation
The ability to work across multiple different business and delivery teams. To support requirements gathering and ensuring the deliverables will be met, whilst building strong and engaged relationships
You'll need to be resilient in the face of challenges, and care and support others within the team
It would be great if you also have
Experience working within a commerce organisation
Expertise in multiple project delivery methodologies and processes (including waterfall and agile)
Experience of project management systems e.g. Jira, MS Project, KeyedIn
