Overview:
This opportunity is an exciting role as Assistant PR Manager, playing a key role in developing PR activations that make our brands the most talked about in the UK. Reporting to the PR Manager, you will work across the total No7 Beauty Company portfolio leading the development and delivery of PR and earned influencer activity across Sleek and Botanics, as well as supporting in driving buzz and awareness for the rest of our brands, including Soap & Glory, Liz Earle Beauty and No7. You will be responsible for facilitating relationships with key external stakeholders, including press and influencers. Alongside this you will play a key part in supporting the creation of events and activities that reach the consumer directly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the implementation of the brands’ PR strategies, with focus on impacting press and earned influencers, and the creation of buzzworthy assets and ideas.
• Work with brand and marketing teams internally and our external PR agency, to ensure activity supports brand and business strategic objectives
• Ensure best in class activation, including supporting the creation of press releases and managing the delivery of press, influencer and consumer launch events.
• Interact with and build genuine relationships with key members of the media, influencers and the wider beauty community
• Monitor, evaluate and report on key metrics to the wider business
What you’ll need to have:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in PR and/or influencer marketing, either in-house or agency side
• Ability to build and own effective relationships with key stakeholders (including agencies and internal teams) to deliver results, challenging where appropriate. You should also grow these relationships across different levels and externally with key agency partners and stakeholders.
• A strong understanding of the beauty media and influencer landscape, building and maintaining relationships with key media and talent / influencers
• Broad commercial acumen and entrepreneurialism with the ability to understand commercial priorities and identify where PR can support these
• Strong analytical skills in order to interrogate PR results and make recommendations for future campaigns.
It would be great if you also have:
• Strong attention to detail and a ‘right first time’ mentality, pursuing opportunities with passion and taking accountability for delivery and results
• Working knowledge of media monitoring and campaign evaluation tools.
