About the role

We're looking for a Finance Manager to join the No7 Beauty Company FP&A team, reporting into the Head of Finance, International Markets. You will be given the opportunity to obtain experience in international markets (focussed on strong growth) and a multicultural environment. It will deal with multiple levels within the organisation, with exposure to the US Commercial Director and Leadership Team. You will lead our performance through both insightful analysis, and helping to identify process improvement. You will work in the UK (Nottingham).

Key responsibilities

· FP&A lead for US business, including month-end, budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with business partners and Controllership to preserve the integrity of the accounts.

· Own and communicate the FP&A plan and calendar to US business, setting clear expectations on deliverables within wider organisation timelines.

· Produce performance packs, giving clear performance insights. Analyse variances to plans and work with the business to proactively identify and minimise discrepancies and risks.

· Support the Head of Finance through ownership of the entire Boots Retail USA P&L and balance sheet, using expertise of other teams where required (on and offshore).

· Challenge the Commercial teams to identify the most accurate forecast, risks and opportunities to achieve our goals.

· Work closely with business partners to provide analysis to improve sales forecasting, drive top line margin through COGS and Trade analysis.

· Provide FP&A support to the Commercial Director and Senior Finance Managers for EMEA & APAC and No7 Beauty Company.

· Role may also include central review of International Retail businesses (e.g. Mexico) performance (mid/ full month and quarterly reports and forecast/ budgets), and ad hoc review of business cases.

· Close collaboration with Commercial partners, and central FP&A team.

· Ensure adherence to processes, including S&OP, providing feedback.

· Support central FP&A reporting with commercial insight, being the expert for your area.

· Work with a “continuous improvement” mind-set to simplify processes and reporting.

· Prepare ad-hoc analysis to provide insight into our performance.

· Support overall FP&A team with wider team projects and goals.

What you'll need to have

· A qualified finance professional (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)

· Proactive, independent person who is excellent at maintaining relationships with multiple partners across all levels in the business.

· Flexible, with the ability to cope within an agile environment.

· Commercial awareness with a great working knowledge of Excel
