About the role
A rare opportunity has arisen to join the Regulatory team for a dynamic, fast growing beauty business. The Regulatory team is a core cross-functional partner, enabling our products and brands to deliver growth through new product launches, marketing activities and management of regulatory changes impacting existing portfolio.
We are looking for a Global Regulatory Manager to drive opportunities in new product developments through a team of expert, as well as drive efficiencies in our Global led processes and ways of working.
This role spans across a wide network of stakeholders including Quality, Claims, Product Development, Brand, Supply Chain, Commercial, regulatory partners and agencies, acting as a champion and enabler with regulatory leadership and expertise.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities
The Global Regulatory Manager is responsible for all aspects of product regulatory compliance for our brands developed globally:
Team Leadership: Accountable for leading, developing and managing a team of four: subject matter experts in their beauty category and regulatory leads enabling product strategies.
Strategy: Accountable for setting a regulatory strategy underpinning new product development: setting up regulatory positions and policies and enabling successful product launches in the UK; with a successful Global set up rolling to other markets.
Product Development & Compliance: Accountable for regulatory activities underpinning the delivery of global product development against the 3 year plan, enabling claims and product positioning through insights and expertise. Accountable for developing and maintaining robust tools and data management systems to ensure we are set up for Global compliance.
Horizon Scanning: Represent No7 Beauty Company externally, building strong external networks and influencing in the UK & EU in line with No7 BC’s brand equity. Accountable for feeding in areas of threat and opportunities to the Global Horizon Scanning process and cross-functional stakeholders.
Processes & Governance: Accountable for developing processes to ensure efficiencies and delivery of regulatory activities across NPD and EPD.
What you’ll need to have
At least 5 years’ experience of working in a regulatory environment, preferably within the cosmetic/OTC area.
Adopt a pragmatic, logical and enthusiastic approach to problem solving.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to develop strong partnerships with cross functional technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to develop, motivate and integrate teams.
Experience managing and prioritising a varied workload.
Demonstrate commercial acumen.
