Overview:

Sitting within the Global product team and reporting to our Global Head of New Product Development for No7 Cosmetics, you’ll be responsible for delivering the NPD plan for the Skincare team - as our Global Product Manager, you would be instrumental in the strategy development of our No7 pipeline and end-to-end product delivery to land the most exciting and innovative skincare products in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the end-to-end process of new product development. From concept conceptualisation and translation into written brief, working with insights partners to gain robust consumer validation - through to owning all product attributes throughout the development process and leading the cross functional POD team to land finished goods on time, in full and within cost – performing in line with commercial forecasts.
• Translation of macro trends, consumer and insights into product and pipeline strategies. Using insight to drive micro product decisions including packaging, formulation, fragrance, claims and design attributes. Always putting the customer at the forefront of decisions to execute consumer relevant quality.
• Work hand in hand with the brand team to translate the strategy into a product pipeline and execute best in class engagement and sell-in with markets.
• Responsible for working with external partners; including strategic, research, manufacturing and design agency partners to brief and critique to deliver against business objectives.
• Lead and orchestrates effective matrix working with multiple cross-functional teams and effectively manage stakeholders and peers to ensure activities are delivered on time and to a high standard with approval and buy-in at key decision points.
What you’ll need to have:
• At least three years of product experience leading end to end NPD projects, delivering products in market for a product development team
• Must have experience working to identify, understand and translate consumer needs and trends into product propositions and commercial value for the business.
• Passion for product development and bettering the lives of consumers
• A proactive and independent individual, with a passion for skincare and good understanding of the latest product trends and launches
• Can demonstrate experience of managing multiple product development projects simultaneously, working cross functionally and strong ability to sell in a compelling & engaging product proposition to key stakeholders
